Omega De Ville 'Fuego Azteca'

€2,800.00

“FUEGO AZTECA”

A rare and distinctive expression of the De Ville line, from an era when Omega was experimenting with unconventional materials, finishes, and design concepts.

This reference 38.08.4.69.9 belongs to the “Fuego Azteca” line and features a special 8 kt rose solid gold alloy.

Preserved in remarkable NOS (New Old Stock) condition, it retains the characteristic original purple lacquer on the caseback, the original brown leather strap, and the matching rose gold buckle, accompanied by its original hang tag, displaying the reference, serial number and price.

The futuristic design is the real highlight: radial sectors inner bezel reflect the light, creating a dynamic visual effect, while the centre of the dial features a distinctive linen finish. The entire composition is enhanced by delicate powder-pink and rose gold tones.

Originally priced at nearly half-million Italian lire, this is a fascinating example of Omega’s more experimental and unconventional design language of the 1970s. Only @avocadovintagewatches
