An Omega “pre-ancoretta” ref. 135.042, powered by the Calibre 601 and featuring a 29.9M serial number, dating to around 1969–70.
Preserved in extraordinary condition, it looks as if it has just left the store — a true New Old Stock example. The original purple shellac is still present on the caseback, together with the original red sealing wax.
The blue dial, enhanced by fantastic tritium hour markers that have aged to a beautiful yellow tone, creates an incredibly pleasing Pop Art-style combination of colors.
Completing the look is a beautiful blue Omega strap with an Omega ref. 27 deployant clasp.
