Havana Ghost + Florentine
One of the most unusual Rolex Day-Date models we’ve come across in recent years: the reference 1806, distinguished by its Florentine finish, more commonly known as the linen finish.
Unlike standard Datejust references, the 1806 designation was specifically introduced to identify this special hand-finished case decoration.
The condition of the case is truly exceptional. It has never been polished and still retains a beautiful natural oxidation with almost reddish tones, adding tremendous character and authenticity.
Equally noteworthy is the 18k gold buckle, finished with the same Florentine pattern as the case. This detail clearly suggests that the watch was originally intended to be worn on a leather strap rather than a bracelet.
The dial is no less impressive: a stunning Havana Ghost dial featuring white graphics against a warm grey-brown background, with remarkable depth and richness of tone.
